Intimate Anniversary Celebration at The Stables at Arrowhead Lake

Time flew so fast from August 2020 to September 2021! Connie and Deron were planning on getting married September 27th, 2020 but then COVID made a pass so they made some changes. Got married on August 16th, 2020 and planned their reception on September 26th, 2021. It wasn’t the easiest decision they had to make and have had a lot of heart ache in the last year, but it made it so super special for the friends and family that could make it just this passed Sunday.

It was such a beautiful and emotional day and I’m so glad I could be the one to capture every moment that happened on Sunday at the gorgeous Stables at Arrowhead Lake.

Emotional, beautiful, heartwarming

Connie started off her morning with brunch with friends before getting ready. Once brunch commenced it was time for Connie to get her hair and makeup done before getting into her gown. Who says you don’t get to wear your wedding dress twice? Connie got too! And she still looks ever so radiant in it the day she said her vows to the man of her dreams.

After some family and bridal portraits it was time for Connie and Deron to spend quality time with their family and friends and get to have their first dance along with Connie to dance with her daddy.

It’s celebrations like these that I make me feel so blessed to have this gift. The gift of capturing moments that my couples are unable to capture themselves. That they get to relive these moments and remember how they felt in the exact moment. For them to have the time to spend with their families and friends to celebrate this beautiful celebration.
