Gorgeous September Day for engagement session at Stan Hywet Hall

When Annalise and I were planning their engagement session, she said she would like it at their gorgeous wedding venue, Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens in Akron Ohio. I remember the day I met Annalise. It was at a bridal show in Hudson and she was with her mom and some of her entourage. We had an amazing connection and I was so excited that she picked me to be their photographer. To get to capture all the things that mean the most to them and one of those is their sweet 7 year old pup, Yoshi.

As we took their engagement photos, daydreaming about their upcoming “I do’s” the whole time, Annalise mentioned they were excited and looking forward to seeing where they would spend their few moments as husband and wife. Their ceremony location! It isn’t 100% in stone, but this session allowed them to look around and see the options they would have.

Annalise told me that photos were not their thing, but they were so excited for their engagement session. Let’s be honest here: how are these two not the cutest together?! The way Sean makes Annalise smile and laugh is intoxicating and I can’t wait to see it again in June 2022 on their wedding day! They rocked their engagement session and you could never tell that photos aren’t their thing. When it comes to engagement sessions, the most important thing I can do as your photographer is create the images of your dreams. So giving you the relaxing and super fun experience, while capturing you as a couple is what I live for. So delivering on wishes like these is so rewarding!
