Abby and Talbot's engagement at Landoll's Mohican Castle was an amazing treat. The weather, the views, the couple! As an Ohio engagement photographer, I've explored many stunning locations for photo sessions. And gonna be honest, I couldn't ask for a more perfect place for these two! From the coble stone paths to the fields of tall grass, Landoll's Mohican Castle has it all! But when Abby and Talbot told me they trusted me with their vision, I knew exactly where to take them for the session of their dreams.
Abby and Talbot started dating 9 years ago and met during their time in the ballet. These two have been ballet dancers since they were very little and now they are professional ballet dancers on the Fort Wayne corps de ballet. I bet they didn't imagine they'd someday be laughing, kissing, and embracing during a Mohican engagement session. As we took their engagement photos, daydreaming of what their wedding day could look like, Abby and Talbot mentioned they were excitedly looking forward to seeing their love in their photos. And boy, did we ever capture exactly that! The way Talbot looks at sweet Abby it just makes you look at them in awe. When it comes to engagement sessions, the most important thing I can do as your photographer is create images that bring your personalities to life, so delivering on these wishes is so rewarding!

I also loved the way they dressed to complement the location. I always advise couples to look up inspiration images on my blog as well as reach out with what they are thinking and work as a team to create the perfect wardrobe. And these two definitely chose wisely! Finding the perfect spot(s) to take couples' photos isn't always easy, but you'd better believe I'll be planning another Landoll's Mohican Castle engagement session very soon!
