Secrest Arboretum and Private Residence Engagement | Debra+Michael

As a Wooster Ohio engagement photographer, I’ve explored endless beautiful locations for photo session. And I’m always so happy to make it back to Secrest Arboretum. Especially, for Debbie and Michael's engagement session along with going to Debbie's childhood farm where she grew up in Smithville, Ohio. And let’s be honest, I couldn’t ask for a more perfect place for them. From the fall leaves and stone amphitheater to the where she used to play as a child at the farm. This was a great location to plan a Wooster and Smithville Ohio engagement session! 

The start of Fall feels of Secrest Arboretum gave the whole session gave all the Fall vibes. Especially, since their wedding will be in the heart of Fall. And dodging the weather was a chore, but we waited out the rain! I'm so glad we did cause these images are just downright stunning and worth the wait.

As we took their engagement photos, daydreaming about their upcoming I do's the whole time, Debbie and Michael mentioned they were just excited and looking forward to seeing their gallery. And boy they are just loving on these images so much. When it comes to engagement sessions, the most important thing I can do as your wedding photographer is create the images of your dreams that bring your personalities to life, so delivering on these wishes is so rewarding!

I also loved the way they dressed to compliment the locations as well as themselves. I always advise my couples to look up images of their session location beforehand to ensure perfect color choices. And these two chose wisely!

Finding the perfect spot to take couples’ photos isn’t always easy, but you’d better believe I’ll be planning another Secrest Arboretum engagement session very soon! Congratulations, Debbie and Michael on your engagement, and I can't wait to celebrate you two next month!
