You have been contemplating on having a first look on your wedding day. Even though I am a sucker for a traditional first look down the aisle. I have come to appreciate and love a first look before the ceremony even more. I have helped over 100 kindhearted wedding couples in 5+ years get the most out of their experience on their wedding day. And a first look gives so much to a couple. Here are 4 reasons why a first look on your wedding day is definitely the way to go.
1. Privacy
Having a first look on your wedding day is a great way to capture one of the most intimate and special moments of your big day. Seeing each other for the first time in your wedding outfits will be a moment you'll never forget. And there's that little factor of getting to spend more time together on your wedding day.
2. calm the jitters
Having a first look can help to alleviate any pre-ceremony nerves and calm any jitters. It's a great opportunity to take a few moments to yourself and your partner to enjoy the moment and take in the feeling of getting married.
3. maximize time
Having a first look can help to maximize the time you spend with your wedding guests. Instead of taking all of your wedding photos after the ceremony which can take an hour and a half. Some if not all of the photos can be taken before the ceremony. And that will allow you to spend more time with your guests.
4. be in the moment
Having a first look can help to capture some of the most natural and genuine moments of your day. Seeing each other before the ceremony allows you to be in the moment. And take in the emotion of the day without the pressure of a crowd.
Having a first look allows you to spend this special day WITH your fiance. And sooner you see each other the better. Why not being able to spend as much time together on your day as much as possible. It makes the experience even more fun. Better yet allowing you to be completely immersed into your wedding day with your best friend and life partner.
