Katie and Colton’s Spring Engagement at Secrest Arboretum in Wooster, Ohio

As a Wooster Ohio engagement photographer, I’ve been to endless stunning locations for photo sessions. And let’s be honest, Secrest Arboretum in Wooster Ohio seems to bring me so much joy! From the stonework in the amphitheater to the blossoms in the trees. Secrest Arboretum has it all! When Katie and Colton told me they wanted to explore a nature type session, I knew exactly where to take the for the session of their dreams. We originally had talked about a park in Ashland. But with how Spring was a little late to the game with the weather we were having. So, I thought maybe the arboretum would be more their jam. And boy did it deliver!

I also loved the way they dressed to complement the location. I always advise couples to look up images of sessions with locations beforehand to ensure perfect color choices, and these two definitely chose wisely! Also, even sweet little Kamper wore a cute bandana to compliment his mommy and daddy.

Finding the perfect spot to take couples’ photos isn’t always easy, but you’d better believe I’ll be planning to come back to Secrest Arboretum for many engagement sessions and portrait sessions to come!
