And I can’t wait to toast a caramel macchiato or split some Oreos with you!

Hey there, I'm Heather!

How to wear your engagement ring?

On the wedding day I have always gotten the question of how to wear the engagement ring on the day of the wedding. Do I switch it after the ceremony? Do I take it off so he can put the band 1st then put the engagement ring on? What do I do, Heather!? So I thought to myself, why not shed some light on this now before the wedding day and take the stress out of it! So here are a couple options for ya ladies!

before the ceremony

The first option is where you can have the best man carry both of your rings before the ceremony for your soon to be put the rings on all at once. That makes things super easy. I have also seen brides put the engagement ring on another finger so when the band gets put on you can move the engagement over.

during the ceremony

As you are walking down the aisle and you see your soon to be at the end of that aisle there are so many feels you will have. The last thing on your mind is when and how I will get my wedding band on the other side of my engagement ring. I know I would have, but I did something that made the transition stress free and had that ring on the correct side. My officiant built into the vows how it symbolized the man taking the engagement ring off and putting the wedding band on and then followed it by the engagement ring. It was so beautiful!

after the ceremony

Lastly, you can do it after the ceremony. So keeping your engagement ring where it is you would just flip them after the ceremony. But I have noticed where brides don’t even think about that after the ceremony. You will be on a high that you are now a wife and will be sooo excited you married your best friend. But your photographer will let you know if she/he sees that the ring isn’t on the way it supposed to be. So it’s not the worst thing in the world.

what i did to make it stress free

So ladies, it will be taken care of either way at the end of the day. But here are some ways you can feed your curiosity. Personally, what I did was incorporating it into your ceremony via your officiant. It was beautiful and stress free! I’m shocked it’s not used often! So it’s an extra unique addition to your wedding day. I’m all about how to make your day stress free and I can’t wait to share more! Keep an eye out for more tips and tricks!

“The photos that stand out to me most are the ones of my husband and I dancing the polka at our reception with my 93-year-old grandparents. I feel so fortunate to have had both of them in person at our wedding, let alone up dancing on the dance floor with us, even for a brief time. I still cry when I look at them. They will be so special to us in years to come.”

“Heather knew getting photos with my grandparents
was very important to me, and she delivered!“

“However, what won me and my husband over was our first meeting with her. She was the most bubbly, pleasant, friendly, loving human being. We appreciated her warmth and her attention to detail. She was well-established, a wonderful planner, and she truly wanted us to have the greatest memories.”

“I loved her pictures. It was like love at first sight!”

“She has such a passion for her couples and capturing their true love story! It shows completely when she is snapping away. Her facial expressions and the gasps she makes when she takes a picture that she loves are just the best! We never had someone get as excited as her when taking pictures! And we love it!”

“Heather truly makes you feel like you are her
favorite couple ever to work with!”
