As a Northeast Ohio wedding photographer, I’ve documented weddings at many amazing venues. But when Kate told me they were planning to say “I do” at Brookside Farms I knew this was going to be a celebration to remember! From the moment we arrived until the newlyweds raced off into their happily ever after, Brookside farm was just breath taking.

As the bride had her hair and makeup done surrounded by her bridesmaids, I couldn’t help but marvel at how open the getting ready space was! With its neutral walls it was perfect for taking photos! It even had a salon chair. And the groom’s prep room was equally great! I always advise couples to find a venue where you will be able to get ready at or be able to hide in and Brookside Farm absolutely delivered.

When we arrived for the ceremony, I was in awe and just loved the arch! Not only did it perfectly suite the dream wedding day Kate and Mike had, but it also surprised me with the natural light and perfect layout the chapel was.

There was definitely no shortage of incredible spots for portraits, that’s for sure! From the photos we took by the bridge to the ones on the driveway to the venue are going to have a crazy hard time choosing which ones to print and hang in their home!

Then, off to the reception we headed! Once the party kicked in to high gear (thanks to Russell Sound Lab) and the guests hit the dance floor, the reception space felt so upbeat after everything we have been going through with the pandemic. It felt wonderful to see that again with social distancing! Kate and Mike’s wedding celebration was amazing, perfect, and downright fun. Congratulations, you two on your marriage, and I wish you the absolute best!
