This first vendor highlight focuses on an extra special videographer and I can’t wait to share why!
Introduction
I am so excited to introduce Tyler of Ty Creative Films. This talented videographer knows exactly how to capture the special moments of your most important days.
Tyler and I met last year at a wedding where he was the videographer for the same wedding I was taking photos for. Our professional connection flowed well from the start. After the wedding, I couldn’t help but wonder how I could work with Tyler again in the future, and then it hit me- I can introduce him and his new venture into the business world.
Let’s get to know him!
Getting to Know Tyler the Videographer
What is your favorite weekend activity? Absolutely anything involving water! Boating, jet skiing, just being in the water is what I love!
Secondly, what was the most memorable moment during your childhood? My dad is a pilot and I loved having breakfast with him and going flying with him and loved going swimming with my mom.
What’s your favorite drink? I love Carpenter’s Cup in Smithville and LOVE smoothies! Their smoothies are awesome!
Business & Clientele
What makes your videography business stand out from others? I love being able to offer unlimited time for weddings. In addition to the videography, I have to be there for every special moment. Getting to know the couple is essential so I can document the story that they want told in the most heartfelt way.
How did your videography business get its start? It all started while I was an intern in college and then that grew to family and friend’s weddings. I also did commercial work. Now, I continue doing commercial work, but love capturing weddings. So, I started my business Spring of 2020 and I’m so excited!
Describe your favorite type of client? Couples that are fun loving and easy going. I want their love story captured in the best possible way.
Why Videography?
What is your style of videography? Documentary or story telling.
Why is videography important to couples? I feel that the same effort for finding a photographer as a videographer. I see them as equals. Photos are definitely a priority, but pictures don’t have the ability to capture voice and for example, what someone said at the reception during their speech. You will hang your wedding photos in your home, but you will also cherish the videography footage of your special day.
What wedding trend do you hope sticks around? I love when couples write and read letters to each other. I also enjoy using a drone for a new, unique, angle on wedding day. As a videographer, it is important to capture every moment from all angles.
With that being said, I am OVERJOYED to announce that Tyler and I will be officially partnering and creating a team! Choosing a team member is so important, and I knew our amazing connection would make us an unstoppable team. I know teaming up with Tyler the videographer at Ty Creative Films and combining our skills of photography and videography will take everything to the next level so STAY TUNED!
