This Northeast Ohio wedding photographer was so excited after meeting with Regan and Nick. Getting to know each other and hearing what their vision for their wedding day was gonna be like. When Regan told me she was going for a romantic garden party and that her favorite book is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, it was bringing all sorts creativity to bring her dream to life. And their first choice was to have their wedding at The Tudor House at Portage Lakes in Akron, Ohio. From the moment we arrived until the newlyweds raced off into their happily ever after, the Tudor House was stunning, lovely, and breathtaking.
As the bride had her hair and makeup done surrounded by her bridesmaids, I couldn’t help but marvel at how amazing the getting ready space was! With it’s neutral white space it was perfect for some getting ready photos!
When we arrived for the ceremony, I was speechless when seeing the amazing job the staff along with Nikki’s Perfect Petals did with the florals on the arch. Not only did it perfectly suit the dream wedding day Regan and Nick had described to me from day one, but it also surprised me with how it pulled everything together.
There was definitely no shortage of incredible spots for portraits, that’s for sure! From the photos we took behind the house to the dock overlooking the lake. Regan and Nick are going to have a hard time choosing which photographs to hang in their home! Then, off to the reception we headed! Once the party kicked into high gear and the guests hit the dance floor, the reception space felt amazing! So much love for Regan and Nick!
Regan and Nick’s Romantic Garden Wedding at Tudor House celebration was one to remember. Congratulations, you two on your marriage, and I hope our paths cross in the near future!

“The photos that stand out to me most are the ones of my husband and I dancing the polka at our reception with my 93-year-old grandparents. I feel so fortunate to have had both of them in person at our wedding, let alone up dancing on the dance floor with us, even for a brief time. I still cry when I look at them. They will be so special to us in years to come.”
“Heather knew getting photos with my grandparents
was very important to me, and she delivered!“

“However, what won me and my husband over was our first meeting with her. She was the most bubbly, pleasant, friendly, loving human being. We appreciated her warmth and her attention to detail. She was well-established, a wonderful planner, and she truly wanted us to have the greatest memories.”
“I loved her pictures. It was like love at first sight!”

“She has such a passion for her couples and capturing their true love story! It shows completely when she is snapping away. Her facial expressions and the gasps she makes when she takes a picture that she loves are just the best! We never had someone get as excited as her when taking pictures! And we love it!”
“Heather truly makes you feel like you are her
favorite couple ever to work with!”
